Biography

Alexander Shayeb is an actor, director, writer, and fight choreographer whose work is rooted in a lifelong passion for storytelling. A graduate of Fordham Theatre at Lincoln Center, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance in 2025 and furthered his training in Classical Theatre Performance at LAMDA (The London Academy of Dramatic Arts).

As a performer, Alexander has studied a range of acting methodologies, including the Stanislavski, Meisner, and Strasberg techniques. His multidisciplinary background extends beyond acting to include vocal performance, musicianship, and stage combat, allowing him to approach each project with a versatile and collaborative artistic perspective.

Whether performing on stage, developing new work, directing, or choreographing movement and combat, Alexander is dedicated to creating compelling stories that connect with audiences through honesty, imagination, and craft.

Alexander is particularly drawn to stories centered on complex, deeply human characters. As an actor, he seeks roles that place individuals in intense and challenging circumstances, offering opportunities to explore the full range of human behavior and emotion. As a creative artist, he is inspired by storytellers like Denis Villeneuve, Christopher Nolan, Martin Mcdonagh, and Rajiv Joseph. Artists who push the boundaries of world-building and immersion. Some of his most rewarding experiences in theater and film have been projects that fully transport audiences into the reality of the story, creating worlds that feel vivid, immediate, and unforgettable.
